End of Life Doula Care

Grief is complex, deeply personal, and often an isolating experience.

Having walked personal paths of loss, we understand the immense weight it carries and the profound change it creates in our lives, families and more.

Through both personal experience and professional training, combined with our work experience, we’ve come to see death not as an end, but as a transition - a sacred passage that calls for grace, compassion, and understanding.

Navigating the end-of-life journey requires gentle presence and dedicated support. As your death doula, we provide compassionate, non-medical care tailored to the unique needs of your loved one and your family during this significant transition. Our role is to offer emotional comfort, practical assistance, and a calm, spiritual presence. We listen deeply, help organize plans, facilitate meaningful conversations, advocate for wishes, and create space for legacy and reflection. We aim to bring peace, reduce stress, and ensure you and your loved ones feel fully supported with dignity and care throughout this important time.

Whether you're facing anticipatory grief, coping with the loss of a loved one, or seeking to find peace and meaning in the wake of loss, we’re here to hold space for you with compassion and care.

We provide and support for an active lifestyle including outings such as shopping, medical appointments, visits with loved ones, community events, religious attendance and more.

At Home Care for Seniors

Aging brings profound changes - not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. For many Seniors, the desire to age comfortably at home, surrounded by familiar spaces and loved ones, is essential to maintaining dignity and peace of mind.

LET’S CONNECT

Hi, I’m Ruby!

I began my professional journey in 2004 after earning my Care Aid certificate, driven by a deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s most vulnerable moments. Over the past two decades, I’ve built a diverse and comprehensive background in healthcare, working in long-term care facilities, group homes for people with disabilities, hospitals, and respite care settings. This experience has allowed me to develop a well-rounded understanding of the complexities of care, from managing physical health to providing emotional and spiritual support.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with dementia, a deep understanding of the unique challenges and sensitivities that come with memory care. I am also trained and experienced in handling medical devices such as G-tubes, catheters, oxygen administration and monitoring, and tracheal aspiration, ensuring that my clients receive safe, professional care at home.

In addition to physical care, I have a strong background in mental health, having worked in the field for over 15 years. This experience has shaped my approach to caregiving to offer emotional and psychological guidance alongside practical support. It is paramount to create and support a calm, secure environment where individuals feel valued and respected.

My work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and a deep commitment to person-centered care. Whether supporting seniors through the challenges of aging or guiding families through difficult transitions, my goal is to provide care that honors each individual’s story, preserves their autonomy, and enhances their overall well-being.

I look forward to connecting and supporting you and your family!
